Education is commonly recognized as the cornerstone for promoting awareness of critical societal issues, with cybersecurity and sustainability standing out as two prime examples. Although the significance of these challenges is broadly acknowledged, people sometimes disengage because they find them overwhelmingly complex. Fortunately, a new approach to enhancing education has emerged – the use of games! Now, the pivotal question is: What skills can games genuinely cultivate? And how effective are they in driving desired behavior change?
