A growing body of research in psychology and sociology has shown that profound dissatisfaction with body image is an increasingly pressing problem among young people, partly due to media exposure, which is expected to worsen with AI-generated idealised bodies. In UnRealBody, we will develop an intervention to inoculate young people from harm from AI-generated idealised bodies and build digital resilience.
