Algorithms can assess a person’s creditworthiness or filter people in the application process who are particularly well suited for a job. Does that make such processes fairer? Or does automatic selection tend to lead to social injustice? Corinna Hertweck from the ZHAW School of Engineering will present a project on this topic at the Swiss Digitaltag.
The project was developed in collaboration with AlgorithmWatch Switzerland, the Museum für Gestaltung and the University of Zurich.
