Online teaching tool “My data, my tracks”

The new online teaching tool “Meine Daten, meine Spuren” (My data, my traces) from the series “Selbstbestimmt digital unterwegs” (Self-determined digital on the go) deals with the protection of privacy in the digital space. It teaches 9- to 13-year-old pupils a basic understanding of privacy in a playful and age-appropriate way.

Data protection is important at any age. For this reason, experts from the PH Zurich, in cooperation with the data protection commissioner of the Canton of Zurich, have designed the teaching material series “Self-determined digital on the go” for the primary school level. The aim is for pupils to develop a basic understanding of privacy and to learn how to use digital tools and platforms in a media-competent way.
