The most extensive funds of the innovation program are used for structure calls. With these, DIZH supports long-term innovation structures with the aim of creating organizational forms that outlast DIZH. In a world that is constantly changing, flexible and future-oriented organizational forms are crucial to meeting the challenges of digitization.
With a funding period of up to 5 years and a funding volume of 6 million CHF , this structure call offers the opportunity to turn groundbreaking ideas into reality. The goal is to support innovative formats that can not only manage change, but also strengthen collaboration between universities and societal actors.
Each structure can be funded with 0.5 to 2 million CHF through the DIZH special credit. According to the general conditions for DIZH support, each proposal for a DIZH structure must have at least an equal contribution from the institutions of the proposal team and/or practice partners.
A total of three structure calls are planned, with this being the second and the third expected to be announced in 2026. Four structures were funded in the first call.
