With the project calls, the innovation program promotes the processing of specific issues in interdisciplinary and cross-university projects. Project calls aim to find forward-looking solutions for practical issues and social challenges. The possibility of working on novel and high-risk issues, where the path to implementation or the measurement of impact may be associated with uncertainties, is explicitly taken into account.
The 4th Project Call supports projects that emphasize various forms of cooperation between the participating universities and practice partners. Total project funding of around CHF 3.3 million is available. For projects with a duration of 1 to 3 years, between CHF 100,000 and CHF 300,000 in funding can be applied for from the DIZH special credit.
