On July 4, 2024, the second edition of the Zurich KMU Innovation Day took place at the Toni-Areal ZHdK. Under the motto “Future-proof together: recognizing and acting on scope”, numerous experts and participants gathered to discuss key topics such as sustainability, cybersecurity, business model development and innovation opportunities.
The event was based on the «KMU und Innovation» support program offered by the Canton of Zurich Location Promotion Network. This network is made up of the Canton of Zurich’s Office for Economic Development and the regional location promotion agencies.
Our participation in the Innovation Day
The DIZH was represented with an information stand. Melanie Knieps from the DIZH structure CYREN ZH offered the workshop “Cybersecurity compact for SMEs” together with Marcel Hirt from the Cantonal Center for Cybersecurity (CCSC). This workshop offered practical insights and concrete measures that small and medium-sized enterprises can take to protect their digital infrastructures against threats.
