ImaginEd. Simulation game for digital change in schools

Shaping the school of the future together

ImaginEd is an innovative board game designed to inspire schools and education teams to actively shape digital change and develop creative, unconventional ideas. The game encourages people to overcome challenges in a playful way and provides a platform for creating visions of a future-oriented school.

During a game of ImaginEd, teams of four to six people work together to develop a vision of their own school of the future. The game mechanics are based on various scenarios that deal with current and future challenges in the education sector – including the integration of artificial intelligence and utopian school models. The aim of the game is to identify concrete steps that can then be implemented in everyday school life.

ImaginEd is field-tested and evidence-based and has been specially developed to support school teams at all levels and types of school and to provide impetus for school development. It enables participants to transform their creative ideas into realizable projects and thus contribute to shaping the future of education.

Pilot test and market launch

The market launch of ImaginEd is planned for mid-2025. A comprehensive pilot test will be carried out in advance to further optimize the game. Interested educational institutions can test the prototype of the game from the end of September 2024. After receiving a game box and playing the game, they will be asked to complete a questionnaire to collect feedback.

ImaginEd offers a way to support and empower schools and education teams on their journey into the digital future by encouraging creative and forward-thinking solutions.

The game is being developed as part of the Edugame4Change project, which is being funded in the 3rd project call of the DIZH innovation program.
