On 21 and 28 September, the Data Donation Lab at the University of Zurich is organizing the Data Donation Days with stand events in Zurich and Winterthur. At the stands, the scientific upcycling of personal data will be brought to life and information will be provided about donating data for research purposes.
The aim is to make Zurich residents aware of their right to their own data and to convince them of the social benefits of data donation.
Four projects are presented that give you exciting insights into your own data. Find out what influence social media and artificial intelligence have on your political opinion-forming, your mental health, your daily media use and your perception of science.
Stop by one of the stands on September 21 and 28 or visit the website www.datadonation.ch.
In addition to the two public Data Donation Days in Zurich and Winterthur, further Data Donation Days will be held in October at the University of Zurich (UZH), the Zurich University of Teacher Education (PHZH), the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur and the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
The Data Donation Days are supported by the Digitization Initiative of the Zurich Universities (DIZH) as part of the Outreach Call.
