Open call: Residency at the Immersive Arts Space

In collaboration with international partners, the Immersive Arts Space of the ZHdK offers a residency for artists and researchers who deal with the connection between body, technology and public space.

BODIES-MACHINES-PUBLICS brings together a “glocal” (global and local) network of cultural and scientific partners in Switzerland, India and Chile. The aim is to give artists time and space to develop prototypes and works that explore the sensitive body and technical mediation in public space. The two-year collaborative project is realized by NAVE (Chile), KHOJ Studios (India), Immersive Arts Space/ZHdK (Zurich, Switzerland) and Kornhausforum (Bern, Switzerland) and supported by the Pro Helvetia Synergies Program.

The team is looking for artists, designers, architects and researchers from India and Switzerland who work between art, technology and science. The four-week residency will take place between September 8 and October 5, 2025 in Zurich (Immersive Arts Space) and Bern (Kornhausforum). The aim is to develop prototypes and works for a public exhibition.
