The University of Zurich is currently conducting the FIDO (Fatigue Investigation using Digital Outcomes) study and is looking for healthy participants aged between 18 and 65.
The aim of the study is to find out how smartphones and wearables can be used to measure fatigue and remotely monitor health status, particularly in people with multiple sclerosis or long Covid. This also requires comparative data from healthy individuals.
Participation includes two face-to-face visits and two months of continuous remote monitoring. This will help researchers to better understand typical patterns of energy and fatigue and how these change in chronic illnesses.
This study is looking for people between the ages of 18 and 65 who are in good health and fluent in German or English. Those interested can contact the study team at fido@dsi.uzh.ch or +41 77 414 11 74 (by phone or via WhatsApp). Participants who complete the study protocol will receive CHF 200.
Further information can be found in the study flyer.

The study is being carried out as a follow-up project to the “Redefining standard fatigue assessments through novel digital biomarkers” project funded in the Founder Call.
